Job Description

Title- Marketing Automation Strategist
Duration- 3 months (Part-Time)
Location-  Remote

The Marketing Automation Strategist leads clients and supports growing our overall 1:1 marketing efforts across known channels and people, utilizing leading MA platforms (Marketo, SFMC, Eloqua), as part of driving Fathom’s overall business. The Strategist is responsible for delivering both technical and strategic solutions for clients on 1:1 marketing programs. The ideal candidate is both strategic and technical, results driven, and has a passion for digital marketing.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the direction of Marketing Automation efforts for clients across 1:1 marketing activities, including identifying new opportunities for messaging, identifying the right channel (email, SMS, etc.) and overseeing the day-to-day execution work of Sr. Specialists/Specialists
• Hands-on administration across 1:1 marketing platforms, including MA leading platforms (Marketo, SFMC, Eloqua) identifying the need for operational campaigns such as lead management and native integrations, provide direction to clients on the value of these campaigns and the most efficient setup
• Lead clients by defining KPIs for strategies that connect with overarching business goals, create reporting, analyze campaign performance, and communicate how results lead to business impact. Include recommendations to continuously improve programs and work with Sr. Specialists/Specialists to ensure testing plans lead to impact in KPIs
• Build outreach strategies within 1:1 marketing platforms, including leading MA platforms, via auditing client databases to identify untapped audiences, learn about clients’ businesses to identify their ideal customer’s pain points, and mapping those pain points to messaging and channels
• Guide Sr. Specialists/Specialists to convert strategic vision to live campaigns and assist in landing page creation, nurture campaign setup, form creation and processing, data management and segmentation
• Knowledgeable of new marketing operations developments and make recommendations for strategic improvements to continually optimize and develop the effectiveness of the platform
• Facilitate defining and scoping business requirements, identify stakeholders needed for successful completion of a project and participate as a subject matter expert in strategy and customer sessions
• Knowledge transfer/training to clients and internal client teams on solution(s) implemented, along with documentation in support of solutions

Qualifications
• B.S. or B.A. degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years of Marketing experience desired, B2B and Healthcare experience preferred
• Technical mastery of 1:1 marketing platforms, including leading MA platforms (Marketo, SFMC, Eloqua) via advanced/admin capacity (Program Builder, Lead Scoring, Customer Lifecycle, etc.)
• Ability to think strategically with a strong ability to execute plans and exceed client expectations
• Excellent structured communication skills with the ability to frame complex digital marketing, 1:1 marketing and technical concepts in a way which facilitates discussion and deeper levels of understanding for our clients
• Proven success in driving results-oriented marketing programs and strategies, and the ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
• Must be able to speak to and demonstrate knowledge in the digital marketing field
• Familiar and/or proficient on marketing technology, providing best practice recommendations in terms of sales and marketing alignment via technology

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a digital agency, consulting firm or digital marketing is a plus
• Leadership, training, and/or management experience
• Experience using various APIs
• Experience with working with third party solutions and across digital channels, and integrating with various MA platforms
• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and Data Management Platforms (DMP)
