Job Title: Product Manager
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid: 3 days per week - Mon, Tues, Wed)

Duration: 6+ Months
  • A product manager who can drive simplicity in the requirements and identify (a) ways client can simplify; (b) must have needs for the vendor; and (c) needed integrations to the client’s systems for MVP as well as future phases.
  • Likely a senior+ level given the many internal and external stakeholders, the challenges in the vendor’s program management, the ability to identify and convince others of simplicity, and the need to be identify and ensure the needed integrations are prioritized by the right internal teams.
  • Inventory Control, Costing, Labor force management.
  • Optimizing labor in restaurants.
  • Will be implementing new softwares into the client Ecosystem.
Role Overview:
Client's restaurants offer unique dining experiences and contribute to the enjoyment of our store experience through partnerships with award-winning chefs, locally sourced ingredients, diverse dining options, with signature dishes and drinks. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will help us modernize our restaurant systems to enable more nimble and profitable operations while ensuring continued customer satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for aligning and documenting requirements and advocating for simple, effective solutions when it’s easier to choose the complex. You’ll need to take decisive action while bringing stakeholders along as we partner with best-in-class industry leaders and restaurant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Action Through Churn and Noise:
  • Coalesce various stakeholders, including executives, on what is truly important to include in our restaurant requirements.
  • Lead the modernization of our inventory management, and labor management to create a seamless and efficient operational environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and interoperability between systems.
  • Leverage third-party solutions to enhance system capabilities and streamline operations.
Drive Us to Simplicity:
  • Lead us from today's often complex requirements into simpler, industry-standard solutions.
  • Advocate for the development of simple, user-friendly solutions that address complex business challenges.
  • Balance technical feasibility with user experience to deliver products that delight our customers.
Keep the Right People Involved:
  • Maintain good communication to keep the churn and noise down.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, design, business, and HR teams.
  • Communicate effectively across various modalities to align on goals, priorities, and expectations.
Get Things Done:
  • Be a product manager who excels at execution and getting things done, even in challenging environments.
  • Drive projects forward with a sense of urgency, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Bring people along as you move forward, encouraging both discussion, debate, as well as commitment and action.
  • Drive to clarity, optimize, and think through compromises to achieve the best outcomes.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with experience in integrating 3rd party systems into an existing company.
  • Experience working in a restaurant at some point in your life.
Education:        
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
