Job Title: Data Analyst II
Location: Plainsboro, NJ 08536 (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Duration: 12 months with Possible extension

Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall support of the CLIENT data strategy office including but not limited documentation, quality control, analytical support and development.
- Responsible for quality control and standards development in CLIENT Data Office
- Assess, prioritize, and document functional requirements.
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions
Main job tasks:
- Drive Data Governance & Data Enablement
- Quality control to support analytics and reporting
- Develop understanding of key business questions to be answered in each project
- Leverage analytical skills to collect, clean, quality control, integrate and analyze data - including sales, marketing & cost data
- Ensure project documentation is maintained; all governance policies and procedures are followed. Support creation of new data governance policies.
- Develop and present recommendations to key stakeholders
- Be a trusted advisor for the analysis methodology
- Develop custom analysis with Tableau, Advanced Excel, SAS, PowerPoint, Access; SQL
- Help build a center of excellence for creating analytically ready data sets, for use among analytics community.
- Ensure detailed data quality checks are performed on an ongoing basis to ensure analytical readiness
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements & Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases & provide guidance and support on the data set, identify areas requiring process improvements to standardize data governance.
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support decision making
- Aware of persistency and adherence metrics, knowledge of analytics on de-identified patient level data.
- Ensure superior customer satisfaction by delivering high end quality support to the stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to look at feedback and development opportunities
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Education:
- Bachelors Degree (preferably within quantitative/management discipline) preferred, solid relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements if appropriate.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working with data in the commercial domain, experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Experience managing stakeholders to drive projects forward
- Strategic and analytical capabilities, with experience in analyzing complex situations, collecting data and effectively synthesizing insights
- Project management and relationship building skills to overcome complex and multidimensional business challenges
Technical skills –
- Tableau
- Advanced Excel,
- Alteryx a plus
- Experience in SQL and complex Query
- Working level knowledge of SAS a plus
