Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 07 Months
- Managing the development and implementation of small or moderately complex new programs or processes that improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations or enhance customer service. 1-2 years"
- Spans both traditional PM work and some product management
- Running smart sheets, project management for all up global coffee portfolio, focus on prioritization, issue and resolution
- Product Management piece: knowledge of product management, able to run things through the Starbucks process
- Multiple Coffee SKU’s that need to be commercialized and tracked through the system
- Learn or have Product Management background (STAR Process, moving it through the stages in a timely manner)
- Excel, PowerPoint, Brand Management
- Coffee new business (pulling presentations)
Key projects:
- 1 key project that is confidential to set up more business revenue within Global Coffee Portfolio
- Team is responsible for the global coffee portfolio (new and historic coffees)
Daily Responsibilities:
- 2 larger projects will take a majority of their time
- Weekly meetings
- Solve open questions with finance and supply chain relevant to projects
- Portfolio, and ensuring that the project is on board and meeting the timelines
- Create continuity with the varying teams to help execute the projects
- Day to day management of the new coffees through the commercialization process
- Resolving any open issue
- Presentations and slides, calendar management to focus on continuity for the total portfolio
- Smartsheet’s
- PLM (internal system new to Starbucks)
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Degree or certifications required:
- No degree, more experience based, must be skilled or willing to learn and jump into the Starbucks systems
Years experience:
5 or more years of experience

- Previous client’s experience is required (more important than the ability to be onsite)
- Strong communication (written and verbal)
- Collaborative mindset
- Highly organized, ability to work proactively, and drive resolutions
