Job Description

 Job Title: Project/Program Manager II
Duration: 04 months
Location: San Francisco, CA/ Seattle, WA/ NY
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program.
  • Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.
  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
  • May require a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
 
Business Group:
  • TRC team - last mile delivery org
  • As delivers packages there is risk.
  • Team is in place to mitigate risk by doing audit and monitoring and advising business partners
  • HM team is mainly working on the monitoring portion
  • Making sure DSB’s are complying with terms of the contract and with federal law from a wage and benefits perspective
  • Last mile transportation model: DSP’S are separate and do not work for Employees work for DSPs.
  • Team in place to require the DSP’s that they pay them fairly. Also, certain requirements in contract to ensure benefits and pay is being complied.
  • To ensure DSPs are complying to agreement, the team has access to payroll data and monitoring weekly that terms are being met through inspections they set up
 
Key Projects:
  • Candidate will be involved in executing audits and initiatives that they are working on (small processes and improvements)
  • Dealing with responses from the DSP or DA’s, especially if failed the audit (answering questions, dealing with escalations)
  • Improving the efficiency or the way the audit is ran
 
Day to Day:
  • Working with offshore team to get audits executed
  • 40% of work will be looking what the GSRC team has done from an audit perspective
  • Making sure audit quality is up to par
  • Issuing results of audits (happens weekly)
  • Questions, escalations, disputes that come after the fact that contractor will be working on.
 
Leadership Principle:
  • Insist on higher standard (quality needs to be top tier)
  • Dive deep (a lot of the work is going to be looking into customer feedback, figuring out if there were any issues in the audit)
  • Customer obsession (DSP’s and BA’s are valued)
 
YOE:
  • 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Need someone who is familiar with excel functions (data analysis)
 
Degree’s/Cert:
  • Bachelor's degree required (preference in BA, Accounting, Finance)
 
Resume Stand Outs:
  • Previous client’s experience would be helpful-             
  • Conducting audits would be helpful     
  • Compliance related
  • Working with large data sets
  • Payroll experience (not processing payroll but payroll/finance/accounting)
 
Top 3 Skills:
  • Familiarity with Excel (basic functions V-look ups, pivot data tables)
  • Project management skills (being able to stay on task and deliver with deadline)
  • 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
