Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to the real estate rental market, aiming to increase organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic to our website.
- Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research on an ongoing basis to identify high-value search terms relevant to our target audience, incorporating both short-tail and long-tail keywords to optimize content effectively. Approach this with a hyper local approach that can scale to cover our portfolio of markets.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize website elements, including meta titles, descriptions, header tags, and images, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and enhancing user experience.
- Content Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop SEO-friendly property descriptions, blog posts, and landing pages that resonate with potential renters and drive engagement.
- Technical SEO: Perform regular site audits to identify and resolve technical issues affecting search engine visibility, such as crawl errors, site speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Link Building: Develop and execute ethical link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and improve search rankings, focusing on acquiring high-quality backlinks from reputable sources within the real estate industry.
- Local SEO: Optimize our Google My Business profile and implement local SEO tactics to increase visibility in location-based searches, attracting renters seeking properties in market specific sub-neighborhoods.
- Performance Analysis: Collaborate with Marketing to monitor and use tools like Google Analytics to monitor website performance, analyze traffic patterns, and generate reports, providing actionable insights to refine SEO strategies.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, particularly within the real estate sector, to ensure our strategies remain effective and competitive.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.i
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on real estate or rental properties preferred.
- In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc).
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress (*we use Strapi) and familiarity with HTML/CSS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
