Job Title: Program Manager III
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Seattle, WA/Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid- 3 days onsite)
Job Description:
• The Fleet Tracking and Telematics team is looking for a Program Manager to drive the successful execution of key initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment between hardware development, software development, and operational execution. Experience in telematics, IoT, or hardware-software coordination is preferred but not required.
• You will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and hardware engineers to define program execution plan, track progress, identify risks. You will also work with different hardware vendors to coordinate the hardware development and manufacturing schedule. You will be coordinating partner teams and the operation teams to ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Projects:
• Launching new hardware solution for tracking of assets
• Building hardware solutions. Working with vendors, engineers.
• Refining initial prototype and scaling it out.
• Working on tracking and data collection device
• Managing requirements and legal compliance around building hardware.
• Product design and piloting.
Primary responsibilities:
• Drive program planning, execution, and delivery across multiple teams.
• Define program goals, track milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Manage stakeholder alignment and coordination across product, software, and hardware teams.
• Manage vendor development to ensure product delivery schedule and quality.
• Ensure clear and effective communication across teams and leadership.
• Lead status reporting, program reviews, and process improvements
Job Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant program or project management experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical understanding of IoT, telematics, or embedded systems is a plus.
• Experience managing complex hardware/software programs is a plus.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Must-Have Skills:
• Prior experience with hardware based products- building or scaling or managing
• Delivery of programs – full life cycle experience
• IoT – Telematics
