Position- Pharmacy Technician
Duration- 03months
Location-Cary, NC: hybrid
FTW, TX: in office
Work Schedule: (Ex: M-F 8am-5pm)
Cary, NC: hybrid M-F 9-6 EST
FTW, TX: in office M-F 10-7 CST
Description:
Describe the day-to-day activities/responsibilities of this position:
Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
2+ years experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
MUST be a Nationally Board Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Must be certified in NC or TX.
Collect med lists and drug allergies from patients.
On phone all day collecting baseline information from patients to get them ready for pharmacist counseling; this includes payment method, shipping address, emergency contacts, etc.
Triaging calls all day and sending them to the correct departments.
Are there any particular traits your ideal candidate should have?:
Must enjoy being on the phone with patients. Position will require employee to be on the phone 8 hours a day.
Are there any licenses/certifications required/preferred? If so please detail
2+ years experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
MUST be a Nationally Board Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Must be certified in NC or TX.
