Job Description
The RolePizza Hut is looking for a customer obsessed Sr. User Experience Designer Contract who is passionate about their craft and helping the Pizza Hut System of restaurants deliver the very best pizza to the communities in which they serve. Supporting our technology and product teams, UXD contributes to this goal by designing customercentered experiences across all US products including PizzaHut.com, the Pizza Hut mobile app, and inhouse solutions that help our franchise partners succeed. Its a fastpaced environment where decisions are datafocused, collaborative, and iterative. The organization deeply values design, research, and analytics.Senior UX Designers typically:Leads the design strategy and execution on their product team, with guidance and coaching from UX and product leadershipHelps define the design work that delivers business outcomes for their product teamsConsults with the product owners, technology partners, and research to help inform product strategy that cultivates valueContributes to the culture of our UXD and product teamsThe Expertise and Skills You Bring5 years of UX or related experience is preferredA degree in a related field such as interactive design, visual communications, graphic design, or human factors is preferredA digital portfolio showcasing your design skills, storytelling, and thinking that we can review online is requiredDrive to optimize and design systems for internal teams and product experiencesExperience working on agile teams delivering value in digital productsExperience collaborating with research to discover and evaluate evidencebased and datadriven design decisions An array of design skills, which might include visual, conversational, information architecture, prototyping, strategic design methods such as design thinking, user research, or writingAbility to design across all experiences including desktop, web, mobile, and native appsEffective communication as a writer, presenter, and facilitator equally at ease speaking with product developers or executivesA foundational understanding of development knowledge, both web and mobileFamiliarity with the value of design systems, understanding reuse and scale, and knowing when to contribute to make them betterPartnering with user research to understand the customer problems to tackleDistilling qualitative and quantitative feedback to unearth recurring themes and promote datadriven design decisionsAn unwavering curiosity to ask whyDesign and helping customers bring you happinessThe TeamThe US Pizza Hut UXD team is a mighty team of designers and researchers obsessed with providing simple, impactful, and accessible design solutions for our customers, internal users, and franchise partners.
