Job Title: Associate Quality Control
Location: Holly Springs, NC
Duration: 12 months

***This Role is Fully Onsite in Holly Springs, NC - Local Candidates to Holly Springs, NC Only, no relocations***
Shift Schedule Requirements:
Starting this role will be Mon-Friday; 8 hours a day, standard business hours (around first 2 weeks) and will transition to the split week schedule. Split week schedule will be as follows: Sunday-Wed or Wed-Sat, 10 hours per day/ 40 hour work week. Rare opportunity for overtime. EW will be assigned a schedule and they will stick to that schedule, either working first half of the week or the 2nd half of the week. Candidate's will need to be flexible to support either split week schedule. EW's will have at least 1 day of the weekend date off (either Sat or Sunday will be off).

Job Details: Under general supervision, this position will perform routine sampling and testing in a GMP Manufacturing facility in support of the Microbiology and Environmental Monitoring group. This position will be responsible for one or more of the following activities:
-Assist with environmental monitoring performance qualifications
-Execute routine sample collection for environmental monitoring in classified areas
-Assist with clean utilities performance qualifications, including water for injection, clean steam, clean compressed air, oxygen, and carbon dioxide distribution systems
-Execute sample collection for routine utilities monitoring
-Assist with general lab startup activities
-Perform routine tasks such as cleaning and inventory management
-Support routine activities over the weekends and public holidays as required
Skills:
-Some lab experience is preferred.
-Experience with environmental monitoring preferred but not required
-Knowledge of aseptic technique
-Experience with Good Documentation Practices/Good Laboratory Practices preferred
-Good writing and verbal communication skills
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
- Basic science background (science degree or prior laboratory experience) Environmental monitoring experience or Microbiology experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Aseptic technique.
- Proficient in good documentation practices (GMP experience not required but basic laboratory writing skills/GDP/GLP knowledge preferred)
Day to Day Responsibilities:
This role will primarily perform environmental monitoring sampling in the classified areas of the manufacturing facility, and routine sampling of the water and gas clean utilities systems. Instruments/systems used include microbial air samplers, particle counters, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Laboratory Execution Management System (LMES).
