Title: Event Data Strategy and Reporting Manager
Location: Pleasanton, California ( (Hybrid but open to 100% Remote)
Duration: 12 months

 
About the Role
We are hiring an Event Data Strategy and Reporting Manager to help drive the success of client's global corporate event portfolio. This role will focus on ensuring data quality and integrity across marketing technology stacks, leveraging event management platforms, and delivering actionable insights through effective data reporting and presentation.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in event management platforms, data accuracy, and reporting, along with a passion for optimizing processes and ensuring clean, reliable data flows between event CRM systems and internal tools. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in transforming complex data into insights presented in clear, consumable formats.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Event Data Quality and Hygiene
  • Ensure data accuracy by cross-checking information across martech stacks, including event management platforms, CRM systems, and internal tools.
  • Manage account, contact, and lead data hygiene processes to ensure clean, consistent, and reliable data flow between systems.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies, collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve data quality and consistency.
Integration Management
  • Support the integration and functionality of event platforms (e.g., Rainfocus, Stova, Goldcast) by working closely with our vendor partners and aligning requirements to the greater workstream
  • Ensure seamless data transfer to internal CRM systems; familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau and Marketo a plus. 
  • Optimize the use of event technologies to capture and analyze attendee data, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
Reporting and Insights
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on event performance and support standardization across the event portfolio
  • Translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations, tailoring presentations to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Exercise storytelling by providing reporting that is visually compelling and easy to digest. 
Collaboration and Strategy Alignment
  • Partner with multiple cross functional teams such as Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence and Sales Systems teams to align data strategies with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Support post-event reporting and analysis, ensuring performance reviews are backed by accurate and actionable data.
  • Collaborate with the greater experience marketing team to support larger strategic initiatives such as goal setting, KPI evaluation and other strategic exercises.
  • About You
 
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in events, with a strong background in event technology, data management, and reporting. Strategic experience is strongly preferred. 
  • Strong experience working with event management tools and CRM platforms.
  • An understanding of supporting enterprise data hygiene processes and ensuring the integrity of lead, contact, and account data.
  • Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, with experience creating impactful presentations for stakeholders.
 
Other Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and fostering strong partnerships.
  • Passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making and improve event marketing ROI.
