Title: Program Manager V (Product Lead)
Location: Remote - West Coast or Central
Duration: 6 Months


Product Lead | Supplier Strategy
Client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Lead to join their team. As a Product Lead within the Strategic Sourcing organization, you will be responsible for executing and driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Supplier Enablement Platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (Procurement Operations, Strategic Sourcing, procure to pay, Finance, Enterprise Products, Legal, and business unit vendor managers) to develop and launch product enhancements that meet the needs of their partners and suppliers.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Execute and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the supplier enablement platform.
  • Use supplier and internal stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new product features.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful product roadmap delivery.
  • Develop business cases and create data-driven presentations to support product initiatives.
  • Analyze product performance and adoption and make data-driven decisions to optimize product development.
  • Communicate product plans and progress to stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partners.
  • Build and foster cross-functional relationships. Proactively engage stakeholders to gain understanding of and build out problem statements. Ideate on potential solutions and the impact those may have on established business processes.
  • Assist in developing user acceptance test scenarios to ensure product enhancements are ready for external launch.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives by advocating for the supplier experience and incorporating perspectives that ensure holistic solutions.
  • Create and track key performance indicators and success metrics through dashboard creation (Thoughtspot, Tableau, etc.) and communicate metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Create user stories and product requirement documents to guide the development of new products and features.
  • Proficiently write and maintain technical documentation, such as product requirements, design documents, and user manuals.
 Key Skills and Experience:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product management or Global Source to Pay organizations.
  • Proven track record of launching successful products/programs.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software and procurement systems/processes/tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting problems and developing solutions.
  • Experience driving change and improving end-to-end processes.
 Must-have skills:
  • Excellent understanding of automation processes.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity. Experience thinking creatively to solve business challenges and improve tools and processes.
  • Ability to reprioritize based on changing dynamics.
Nice to Have:
  • Tableau and proficiency in data analysis.
  • Familiarity with design thinking and user-centered design approaches.
  • Experience working in a global enterprise and complex procurement environments.
  • Excellent communicator, with proven skills in consulting with internal business clients and external suppliers. Cross-cultural experience preferred.
