Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Payments Team on a contract basis. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with senior engineers to automate processes for managing discrepancies in money movement. You will take ownership of monitoring, alerting, and resolving money movement discrepancies by coordinating with various internal and external partners.

Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in backend development and testing
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, PHP, and C++
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Typical Day-to-Day in the Role:
- Collaborate with senior engineers to automate processes for managing discrepancies in money movement
- Take ownership of monitoring, alerting, and resolving money movement discrepancies by coordinating with various internal and external partners
How Will Performance Be Measured?
- Ensuring discrepancies are resolved
- Triaging money movement correctly and automating current processes
What Makes This Role Interesting?
- Work at Client on large-scale money movement processes
- Handle billions of dollars and ensure accurate triaging, making the scale of work impactful
- Collaborate with senior engineers to automate processes and resolve discrepancies
Must-Have Skills:
- 4-7 years of experience in backend development and testing
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, PHP, and C++
- Ability to collaborate with senior engineers and internal/external partners
- Debugging and analysis of data
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Payments background in reconciliation area
- Experience in payments
