Job Description
Summary:
  • The main function of the Verification Engineer is to work with a group of researchers and engineers to own the electrical system-level verification of Client's products.
  • The role involves working closely with researchers, architects, and designers to develop methods of electrical verification for multiple state-of-the-art systems.
  • The engineer will define verification requirements, create test cases, design and implement the testing infrastructure, execute the testing, and report the results for new product designs.
Skills:
  • Knowledge of definition of verification requirements
  • Experience owning areas of product verification
  • Knowledge of definition, architecture, design, and driving implementation of test automation
  • Working knowledge of C#, Python, and LabVIEW
 
Must-Have Skills:
  1. Strong System Verilog, debugging skills, and experience owning areas of product verification
  2. 5-10 years of experience working as a verification engineer
  3. Proficiency with UVM and integration verification
 
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  1. Experience with Python
  2. Experience with C/C++
Years of Experience:
  • 5-10 years of experience working as a verification engineer
Degrees/Certifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
 
Story Behind the Need – Business Group & Key Projects
Key Projects/Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Define electrical verification methodologies for different systems by working with researchers, architects, and design teams
  • Define and track detailed test plans for the different modules and top-level systems
  • Define, architect, design, and drive the implementation of scalable test infrastructure
  • Track coverage metrics and bugs encountered and fixed
  • Own execution, interpretation, and reporting of electrical system-level verification work status and results
  • Support system bring-up and debug activities
  • Clearly communicate test plans and results
 
Purpose/Size of this Team & Where Does This Position Fit Within the Team?
  • Design verification team, AI-focused, and building AI subsystems
 
How Will Performance Be Measured?
  • Bi-weekly tasks assigned, and performance will be based on how efficiently they are completed
