Job Title: Contracts and VM Analyst
Duration: 12 months (Contract to possible hire)
Location: 100% remote
Shift: 7-4, 8-5 or 9-6 PM EST, M-F
Position Summary:
The Contract and Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for creating and reviewing contract terms and conditions with Contract Negotiators and customers, typically less than $200,000 in the Company's spend on goods and services. Ensures that all negotiated deals are properly managed through contract execution. Collaborates with others to drive vendor performance and determine what capabilities and product offerings meet the needs of the business.

- Sourcing experience with Technology.
- Ability to research and maintain awareness of emerging technology terms and concepts.
- Technically Proficient: Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, One Note, Coupa.
- Ability to manage and maintain vendor relationships.
- Skilled at negotiation.
- Time management.
- Procurement project management skills.
- Listening, verbal and written communications skills with the ability to present information to internal teams.
- Ability to manage negotiations for multiple contracts concurrently.
- Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly.
Nice to have experience?
- Someone who has run Technology Request for Proposals and having worked with 5+ Vendors.
What will separate an average candidate vs a great candidate on a resume?
- Experience in Project Management
- High level RFP experience; Vendor Management Experience and Contract Negotiation Experience and someone who is okay doing administrative type work as well.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Working with the RFP Team and IT Project Management Team (primarily on software RFPS, but could be other hardware as well).
- This contractor will be responsible for multiple projects and will work on the contract as it goes through end-to-end life cycle.
- Handle all administrative tasks (Coupa, Excel spreadsheet, Status Updates, Reporting, etc.). required.
- Responsible for multiple projects.
- Building vendor relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, business and platforms).
- Scheduling demos of software products.
- Gathering Meetings with cross functional teams for collaboration of bringing in a new product.
- Building the RFP Scorecard.
- Someone who is comfortable working with stakeholder, Security, Risk, Legal.
- Help guide the team to build the technology required.

- Bachelor's Degree in a business or related discipline (e.g., Business Management) and a minimum of two years of experience in business, sourcing and/or developing and maintaining vendor relationships.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of four years related work experience in business, sourcing and/or developing and maintaining vendor relationships may be accepted; HOWEVER, if a candidate has 2 years of HIGH-LEVEL experience with RFP of technology, they will consider the candidate.

Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, business and platforms).
- Manages and monitors vendor performance per contract agreements.
- Assists in the development of SLAs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for inclusion in contract negotiations.
- Assists with continuous improvement activities in vendor performance against appropriate SLAs and KPIs.
- Participates in meetings between vendors and Company stakeholders (e.g., gathering requirements, identifying solutions, vendor performance).
- Functions as the point of contact for contract and vendor service issues from business partners and assigned vendors.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities:
- Technical aptitude and the ability to analyze requirements to determine the appropriate vendor to deliver business needs.
- Ability to manage and maintain vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of software asset management terms and concepts.
- Analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data from various sources to determine next steps.
- Organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignment simultaneously.
- Listening, verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment requiring the use of typical office equipment (e.g., computers, phones, etc.). Computer keyboarding, computer monitor and mouse use including reaching forward, grasping, finger and wrist manipulation, and neck bending and turning; near vision is necessary for computer monitor use. If working in an Emerging Workspace, or similar working arrangement, lifting of laptop equipment, files and/or personal belongings weighing 10 lbs. or less is required.
