Job Title: Senior AI Azure Architect
Duration: 08+Months
Location: Remote (but has to be PST or MST)
Role Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior AI Azure Architect to join our Cloud Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with specific experience in Azure, including Microsoft AI products such as Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and Azure Foundry. This role will involve designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions to automate our current operations, enhance our cloud infrastructure, and drive business value. The position requires expertise in both architecture and the ability to perform hands-on engineering tasks at a senior level. Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate is required; Experience with Google-related AI solutions is a plus to help support our multi-cloud environment.
Key Duties
• AI Solution Development:
o Design, develop, and implement AI models and systems using Microsoft AI products.
o Integrate AI models into cloud-based applications and systems, ensuring seamless operation and scalability.
o Optimize AI models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
o Develop and manage processes for extracting data from various sources, ensuring data is collected efficiently and accurately.
o Automate ETL processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention, leveraging tools and technologies.
• AI Agents and Chatbots:
o Create intelligent AI agents and chatbots that can interact with users, understand natural language, and provide relevant responses.
o Tailor AI agents and chatbots to meet business needs, including customer service, virtual assistants, and automated support.
o Deploy AI agents and chatbots on various platforms, ensuring they are accessible and functional across different devices and environments.
o Continuously monitor and improve the performance of AI agents and chatbots, incorporating user feedback and advancements in AI technology.
• Best Practice Solutions and Templates:
o Develop best practice AI solutions & templates that can be integrated into data teams' and development teams' solutions.
o Establish standards and guidelines for AI development to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Training & Documentation:
o Work with development & operation teams to train them incorporating AI into their solutions & workflows.
o Offer ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful adoption and utilization of AI agents in operational processes.
o Create and maintain documentation for AI models, processes, and best practices.
Required Job-Specific Skills & Education
• 5 years of proven experience as an AI Engineer or similar role.
• The position requires expertise in both architecture and the ability to perform hands-on engineering tasks at a senior level, including Microsoft AI products, including Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and Azure Foundry.
• Strong programming skills in C#, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience in creating AI agents and chatbots, including development, customization, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience with AI ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate is also required; additional Azure or AI certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates must work Pacific Standard Time hours. East Coast & Central Time Zone candidates will not be considered.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with Google-related AI solutions, including:
o Google Cloud AI: Utilizing Google Cloud AI products and services for AI and machine learning applications.
o Vertex AI: Developing, training, and deploying machine learning models using Vertex AI.
o Document AI: Implementing AI-powered document understanding and processing solutions.
o Recommendations AI: Creating personalized recommendation systems using Recommendations AI.
o Conversational AI: Building conversational agents and chatbots with Google Cloud's conversational AI tools.
