Location: Atlanta, GA 30326 (Hybrid, 3 days per week)
Duration: 5 Months
 
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced contractor to support Procurement Operations with data management, automation, data development, analytics, Tableau dashboard creation, reporting, and data governance. This critical role is integral to our data and analytics strategy, providing the business analysis and insights needed to drive the company’s success.
 
You will collaborate with IT and business teams to analyze data migrations as part of our ERP transformation and conduct in-depth reviews of Snowflake tables to ensure data accuracy for reporting and analytics. Additionally, you will assess all data sources to identify automation opportunities through APIs or other methods, optimizing workflows and efficiency. (Responsibilities will expand as the contractor demonstrates expertise and takes on more complex projects.)
 
Responsibilities:
  • Inventory & Data Migration: Gather a full inventory of data sources and assess their impact during the Cloud ERP migration.
  • Dashboard Automation: Analyze existing Tableau dashboards to identify opportunities for automation.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Assist in generating reports on procurement data as needed.
  • Data Governance: Ensure governance frameworks are in place for existing data sources.
  • Dashboard Migration: Recreate existing Tableau dashboards using new Cloud ERP data sources.
  • Data Accuracy & Validation: Test new datasets created during Cloud ERP migration to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work with the Business Technology team to stay aligned with Cloud ERP migration timelines.
  • Documentation & Training: Create slide decks summarizing changes resulting from the Cloud ERP migration.
  • SQL & Data Cleansing: Analyze Snowflake tables and develop SQL queries to clean and refine data.
  • Data Guide Updates: Refine and maintain documentation for key dashboards.
  • Strategic Support: Assist with other high-visibility data projects as requested.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • 6-8 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a similar role.
  • Strong Tableau expertise – Ability to create, analyze, and optimize dashboards with calculated fields and verification methods.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake & SQL – Experience querying large datasets, optimizing performance, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • API & Automation Experience – Skilled in using APIs to integrate data sources and automate workflows.
  • Data Governance & Quality Assurance – Experience improving data accuracy, ensuring compliance, and maintaining governance standards.
  • Testing & Validation – Ability to reconcile datasets and verify accuracy in migrated and transformed data.
  • Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Able to troubleshoot data issues and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent Communication & Collaboration – Experience working with IT, business, and procurement teams to align on data needs.
  • Adaptability in a Fast-Paced Environment – Comfortable with shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and evolving requirements.
  • Project Management Experience (Preferred) – Ability to track and manage data projects, ensuring alignment with ERP migration timelines.
  • Cloud ERP Experience (Preferred) – Familiarity with systems like Oracle Cloud or Workday and their impact on data migration.
 Day for this contractor will look like:
  • Contractor will analyze all of our dashboards and data sources and help with rebuilding/optimizing according to new ERP data sets.
  • Will need to understand changing data elements according to ERP initiative and be able to rebuild current dashboards according to the changes.
