Job Description

Title: Marketing Data Architect
Location: Toronto, ON M5J 2V5  (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Duration: 7+ months Contract with possible extension
 
Job Overview
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated data architect with strong project management skills to join our team and lead the initiative to improve how we manage the integration of various data sources across the Marketing technology stack and CRM software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive analysis of our existing data setup and identifying the best strategies to accurately source, manage, and tag data for effective use in marketing campaigns and robust, comprehensive reporting.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Data Analysis and Evaluation
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the current data management setup and processes.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in data sourcing, management, and tagging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and usage for various marketing campaigns and reporting.
• Strategy Development
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy to enhance data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Recommend best practices and tools for data sourcing, management, and tagging.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements for data management.
• Implementation and Execution
  • Lead the implementation of the approved data management strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute data management initiatives.
  • Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and goals.
• Quality Assurance and Optimization
  • Establish data quality assurance processes and frameworks to maintain high standards of data integrity.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize data management practices to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to team members on data management best practices.
• Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare detailed reports on data analysis findings, strategy development, and implementation progress.
  • Document data management processes, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate project updates and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in data management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, including reports and dashboards
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in data management and marketing analytics.
 
Desired Skills and Attributes
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to data management challenges.
  • Proficiency in Data Visualization and Analysis tools such as PowerBI (Preferred), Tableau, or similar tool
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms, such as 6sense and marketing automation tools such as Marketo
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
