Job Title: Partner Operations Manager, Events
Job Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 18 months Assignment
Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, PST Hours

This includes recruiting and developing client’s global supply of high-quality stays, expanding beyond the core aspects of our product, and executing client’s global in market strategy.

 Partner Operations Lead, Events:
  • The Partner Operations Lead, Events brings strategic and operational rigor, a deep understanding of events, a natural passion for on the ground experiences and operations and incredible stakeholder management skills to deliver best-in-class activations that make client shine across its Events portfolio.
  • They will be responsible for supporting and implementing event operations to establish client’s activations across a variety of event partnerships, from sports like our Olympics and Paralympics partnership through to art, music and culture.
  • They will drive operational excellence, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams from events to marketing, PR/communications, design, product marketing, public policy, and data as well as event partners to bring client to life at events.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop experiential plans and support experiences across a variety of event partnerships worldwide, from sports to music, arts and culture.
  • Collaborate across functions, markets and regions, to develop highly effective, design-forward, localized ideas for implementation.
  • Gain cross-functional, event partner and leadership buy-in to deliver a creative, high-quality, impactful guest experience.
  • Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams, event partners, and agencies to ensure operational excellence bringing our plans to life for our guests and event attendees.
  • Deliver creatively excellent on-site activations, including but not limited to: experiences and services on site, experiential venues, venue hospitality, support of onsite media, social media, UGC and other various onsite amplifications, ensuring all activities feel local and personal.
  • Conduct RFPs, build contracts and SOWs, support POs and ensure timely payments for execution across all assets involved, working closely with procurement, legal, and finance.
  • Oversee internal teams and agencies, manage and track budgets, delivering on time and on budget.
  • Work with finance and operations on budget forecasting and actualizing; ensuring timely SOWs and contracts with partners at all times; provide regular activity updates and reconciliations.
  • Manage analytics and reporting for success of these activations working closely with event partners, data science and FP&A.
  • Conduct after action reviews on projects including results, lessons learned and best practices to global, regional and local internal and external partners, building learnings into improvements for future projects.
 
Qualifications:
  • Deep subject matter expertise at event operations - management, client or agency side, with preference in the sports, music or arts/culture sectors. (10+ years’ experience in event management).
  • Creative, strategic and analytic thinker.
  • Significant experience working closely with agencies, event partners and internal teams, including marketing, communications, FP&A and data analytics functions.
  • Deep experience delivering globally integrated creative activations supported by brand, comms, media, and data strategy.
  • A passion for creative excellence and craft in storytelling through multiple media types, both emerging and traditional.
  • Experience applying first party data and consumer insights research to creative briefs and brand narratives that inspire creative.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, building teams and workflows that enable communication across national boundaries, both internally and with event partners and agencies.
  • Appetite for a fast-paced, collaborative environment and desire to constantly reassess and make the work better.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, a keen visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to simplify is key.
  • Degree preferred.
