Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Indianapolis, IN, USA, 46256
Duration: 12 months
Shift : 1st Shift 7:30-4pm (start time can flexible), M-F

Duties:
- Performs repetitive testing and inspection of the company’s products using validated software.
- Performs analyses finished product from other sections of manufacturing or performs investigations according to established procedures to determine conformance to acceptance specifications for a particular chemical or physical property.
- Prepares instruments and apparatus according to established procedures to support the testing activities of the unit.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- May be responsible for supporting customer complaint evaluations and event reporting obligations, including but not limited to: product investigations, disinfection, evaluation, and preliminary failure analysis.
- Special projects will be performed as needed.
- Specialized knowledge generally of particular area, system or equipment.
- Requires specific training and/or certification. Applies some advanced skills to the position or specialization.
- May adapt procedures, processes, tools equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position. Duties are generally routine but may include non-routine tasks.
- Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Applies basic skills and may develop advanced skills appropriate for the position.
- Duties and tasks are standardized.

- Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
- Performs analyses of finished products to determine conformance to accepted specifications.
- Performs product verifications to ensure products are qualified for production use
- Performs test stand preventative maintenance procedures for the purpose of ensuring proper test stand operations
- Investigational testing of production and pilot material, as needed
- Performs stability testing that monitors product claims, relative to product shelf life
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics or related field
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Detail oriented
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word, Excel, Google Sheets)
- Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or scientific field or equivalent experience
- 1+ years’ experience working in laboratory environment
- 1+ years’ experience working in a regulatory environment
- 1+ years’ experience with process improvement
- 1+ years’ technical or scientific experience
