Title: Associate
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA, 91320 (100% onsite )
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM PT
Duration: 1 Year (Possibility for extension)
Overview:
The role involves quantitative bioanalytical analysis using LC-MS/MS, handling biological samples, and working in a fast-paced lab environment. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to multitask are key.

Overview:
The role involves quantitative bioanalytical analysis using LC-MS/MS, handling biological samples, and working in a fast-paced lab environment. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to multitask are key.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quantitative bioanalytical analysis using LC-MS/MS, including extracting biological samples, accurately preparing and pipetting solutions, planning experiments, and organizing data and results in support of non-GxP discovery studies
- Participate in method development and method validations for regulated studies
- Utilize various laboratory equipment including LC-MS/MS, pipettes, balances, and tissue homogenizers
- Develop solutions to technical problems for discovery support and bioanalytical methods under supervision
- Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic LIMS systems and laboratory notebooks
- Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures, including training completion, maintenance of training records, laboratory documentation, and adherence to SOPs
- Recognize when to seek input and when to make independent judgments
- Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities and operational support, including QC of reports
- Strong theoretical understanding and/or experience with chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, particularly LC-MS/MS, and other laboratory equipment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks.

- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail to accurately follow laboratory methods and procedures, document experiments and training, and follow safety guidelines
- Willingness to handle biological samples (e.g., plasma, blood, and tissue samples)
- Strong theoretical understanding and/or experience with chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, particularly LC-MS/MS
- Prior laboratory experience (e.g., summer internship, undergraduate research project)
- Experience with quantitative analysis and LC-MS/MS
- Minimum Education: B.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry, Physical or Life Sciences, or related technical discipline with completion of essential chemistry courses (general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry)
- Experience: 0-2 years performing bioanalytical analysis (fresh graduates welcome)
- 0+ Years with Relevant B.S. OR
- 2+ Years with Relevant A.S. OR
- 4+ Years with HS diploma
- Foundational knowledge of technical principles, theories, and concepts to perform routine work
