Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Sales Representative to drive sales and expand our market presence in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in controlled medications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of industry regulations. This role requires a proactive professional with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets while ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to promote controlled medications to healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and medical facilities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing product education and addressing inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and compliance requirements related to controlled substances.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer support.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and forecasts to track performance and optimize sales strategies.
  • Attend industry conferences, training, and networking events to stay informed and enhance sales opportunities.
 
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in medical or pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record in selling controlled medications.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver’s license
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to drive results.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
    • In-depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements for controlled medications.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
