Job Description:
- Proven experience in technical documentation, particularly in systems architecture, data flows, and process documentation.
- Experience using AI capabilities to accelerate the development and organization of technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of solution and data architecture, as well as process flows.
- Experience in documenting non-functional requirements, risks, assumptions, and mitigation strategies. Familiarity with tools such as Lucidchart for diagramming
- Ability to create clear and detailed deployment plans, including change management and data migration processes.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly document complex technical concepts for a broad audience.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team and collaborating with engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with general data and solution architecture concepts.
- Experience in using tools like Lucidchart for creating system context diagrams.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and integration technologies.
- Ability to create and maintain centralized documentation repositories.
- Document Current Solution Architecture: Capture and present detailed diagrams, descriptions, and technical specifications for the current system architecture and workflows.
- Document Proposed Future Solution Architecture: Create documentation that defines the target state of the solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Process Flows: Develop clear and concise process flow diagrams to represent system interactions, data exchanges, and integration points.
- Jobs, Pipelines, and Scripts Documentation: Document the jobs, pipelines, and scripts required to implement the solution, ensuring they are clearly described for internal use.
- System Context Diagrams: Create and maintain system context diagrams that illustrate integrations and interactions across different system components.
- Data Models Documentation: Document data models (ER/Object models), data dictionaries, and ensure proper documentation of data requirements, formats, and structures.
- Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs): Document and track NFRs, assumptions, risks, and mitigation strategies for the solution.
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Define and document SLAs for each function and create a communications structure to ensure clear ownership and expectations for all activities (e.g., ensuring goals are available by the 3rd Wednesday of each month for UDP generation).
- Deployment Documentation: Create comprehensive deployment docs, templates, and plans outlining the steps for seamless transition, change management, and data migration.
- Change Management and Transition: Document processes for handling POR changes, transitions, and exceptions in the system, addressing any potential impacts on the solution.
- Exception and Piloting Impact: Identify and document potential exceptions or pilot-phase impacts on the overall solution and deployment.
- Centralized Documentation Repository: Establish and maintain a centralized repository for all technical documentation, ensuring easy access and version control for the entire team.
