Job Description

Job Title: Sr Associate Master Data Management
Location: Remote ( 100% - Any US time zone okay)
Duration: 3 months (Open for Extension)

 
Ideal Candidate: B.S. and 2+ years of experience. Someone with a M.S. would be overqualified.
Nice to have: Previous data analyst or someone who has worked in the pharma or biotech space.
Ideal Candidate: Communication skills written/verbal, self motivated, Organizational skills, Multi-task, managing multiple activities simultaneously. Willingness to learn. Data entry role.
 
The Sr Associate Master Data Management is responsible for managing the entry, maintenance, adherence to standard design, and accuracy of Master Data elements which include but not limited to Commercial, Clinical, and Raw Material Master and Material Requests in SAP
• Manage the data entry and maintenance of Basic Data, Quality Master Data, MRP Master Data, Procurement Master Data, and/or Warehouse Master Data which includes but is not limited to Commercial, Clinical, and Raw Material Master and Material Master Data Requests in SAP.
• Accountable for achieving data accuracy targets and service level agreements, when executing material master data workflow tasks.
• Monitor functional area data quality reports and identify revisions to data quality reports, to proactively prevent, identify, monitor, and correct master data errors.
• Execute non-workflow master data requests.
• Upholds global master data governance process.
• Provide business process guidance to internal clients on the workflow process.
• Participate in BPO’s global forum.
• Provide continued Master Data leadership in managing core data needs.
• Provide process and system guidance and training to department staff and maintain Global Master Data training material.
• Extract, compile and interpret data relevant for periodic metrics and reporting needs.
• Apply analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations/problems using multiple sources of information.
• Support or manage process improvement initiatives and projects.
• Test SAP functionality, support ERP releases.
• May manage Data Quality Metrics/KPIs reporting and monthly Material Master Data Governance Forum minutes.
• May manage change control that impacts SAP Material Master Data.
• May execute master data impact assessments as required for Change Control.
• May manage department documentation.

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree
Or Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Supply Chain/SAP ERP/Master Data Governance
Or Associate's degree and 6 years’ experience in Supply Chain/SAP ERP/ Master Data Governance
Or High school diploma/GED and 8 years’ experience in Supply Chain/SAP ERP/Master Data Governance
 
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of related experience in Supply Chain, Master Data Governance, SAP ERP
• Expertise in SQL, Excel and Tableau or like platforms
• Comfortable leading cross-functional work & working in an agile environment
• Self-starter with high attention to detail, able to work on assigned tasks independently, able to identify and initiate discussions about opportunities for process improvement.
