Title: Technical Program Manager III
Location: Burlingame, CA or Seattle, WA
Duration: 12 months (possibility of conversion at the end of contract)
Note: The position requires occasional travel to vendors, partners and client's offices in NJ and Ohio
Summary:
The main function of a Technical Program Manager is to provide successful definition, implementation
and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies
across a group of projects and/or related activities.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is on the Global Channel Experiences team which falls under the Global Channels org for reality labs. This team manages the building of technology within retail space displays for client's Ray Bans.
Typical Day-to-Day in the role
Assisting in increasing compliance of retail demos working closely with EL (EssilorLuxottica)
Work with client's TPM Lead to understand what is being developed, and requirements Building SOPs with EL

Summary:
The main function of a Technical Program Manager is to provide successful definition, implementation

across a group of projects and/or related activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain deliverables and project tracker to ensure all updates execute on time.
- Develop demo requirements for RL retail demo devices and lead the deployment of the product’s retail launch.
- Develop demo technical requirements for retail display partners.
- Create demo best practices training and documentation for developers and marketing partners.
- Help develop and maintain scalable retail technology solutions such as content and device management systems.
- Collaborate closely with Analytics teams to define KPIs, set program guidelines,
- develop/select the right analytics tool, review demo/display engagement metrics and
- build upon the data to improve the customer experiences.
- Execute multiple retail demo content and software updates year-round across Wearables.
- Assist stakeholders in the evaluation, selection, and revision of retail demo content.
- Partner closely with the Field sales team to understand potential issues and build tech solutions that are field friendly and support fixture tech maintenance by building troubleshooting documents.
- Drive alignment between marketing teams and the core Demo team to ensure synergy with every demo install and update.
- Partner with channel marketing to ensure demos meet the requirements and specifications of different retailers.
- Build and track program budgets, develop RFI/RFQ documents to support with technology vendor selection, build supplier SOWs and serve as primary POC for technical vendors.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with technical support partners and scale the relationships accordingly.
- Excellent understanding of Hardware and Software development processes.
- Experience with bug and project tracking tools such as JIRA, Asana.
- Understand how to create and maintain project trackers across multiple programs and stakeholders.
- Possess as a minimum an understanding of fixtures & retail environment as a whole.
- Excellent communicator, superb verbal and written communication.
- Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail, able to detect inconsistencies and errors.
- Experience forecasting and managing multiple project budgets.
- Highly effective at managing conflict.
- Master collaborator who can resolve issues between stakeholders swiftly to maintain a positive team spirit that is consistent with client's values.
- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and flexible.
- Experience with navigating various organizational environments where culture and structure varies.
- Engineering discipline is preferred (any specialization such as mechanical, electrical, biosciences,
- etc.. Computer Science degree is not a requirement)
- 7+ years of experience in technical project/product management, or equivalent.

- Experience working in a technical environment
- Must be extremely collaborative, and have the ability to work through ambiguity.
- Experience working in either software or hardware product development
- Prior experience working within the retail space for a product.
- Vendor management experience
- Building demo experiences or customer facing products.
- 7+ years of experience in technical project/product management, or equivalent.
- A Computer Science degree is not needed but any engineering discipline is acceptable (mechanical, electrical, biosciences, etc.).
- Technical background helps the team tackle challenges from multiple perspective
