Job Title: Program Manager, Senior
Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 10 months
Description:
**LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED but opened to out of service territory (not out of state)*** Role is hybrid.
*Client laptop will be provided for successful hire within the service territory. If located outside service territory, they must use their own device or vendor provided.
TOP THINGS:
This position will be responsible for providing overall program management support for a variety of Electric Risk Management workstreams, keeping projects on schedule while facilitating and working closely with stakeholders outside of the electric risk management organization (ERM).
Responsibilities:
Creating and managing our Tactical Implementation Plans (TIPs), keeping responsible owners accountable for deliverables, and escalating as required.
Duties:
Minimum:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of relevant experience in program and project management.
• 10 years of experience in electric operation, risk management, quantitative modeling, and regulatory framework.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating meetings, creating presentations for various levels of management, with good oral and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in the ability to synthesize complex issues into easy-to-understand concepts.
• Experience building relationships across multiple functions and facilitating the decision-making process.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Technically oriented and ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
• Self-starter, sense of urgency and accountability.
• Fit into current team culture.
Desired:
• SME experience in asset management (Distribution, Transmission, Substation assets).
• Experience in General Rate Case (GRC), Transmission Overhead (TO) Filing.
• Extensive knowledge in electric risk management including understanding of current control and mitigation programs.

Duties:
- Coordinating and interfacing with stakeholders within electric risk management (ERM), risk management and analytics (RADA), enterprise operations and risk management (EORM), electric system planning, transmission and distribution engineering, electric asset strategy, and asset knowledge management.
- The prospective candidate is organized, technically oriented, can grasp concepts quickly, and adapt to new information.
- The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing the transition to a new risk-based evaluation that will provide more granularity and align different risk models.
- Other responsibilities include working closely with our risk managers and functional asset strategy teams to develop/track our key Performance and Risk Indicators (KPIs & KRIs), in addition to providing program management duties tied to data requests relating to our 2027 GRC Filing.
- Create and update Tactical Implementation Plans (TIPs) for Risk Workstreams, keeping responsible owners accountable and escalating as required.
- Maintain visibility of overall workstreams and create dashboards communicating status to relevant stakeholders and business partners.
- Develop and coordinates presentation materials for various levels of management, including Executives and Board.
- Promote data-driven decision-making, establishing a culture of risk quantification across the line of business.
- Workstreams include: 2027 GRC Filing support (data requests and witness testimony)
- Risk-based modeling transition. Risks in scope include our distribution, transmission, and substation reliability and wildfire risk models.
- Management and tracking of our KPIs and KRIs
- Integrated grid management plans (IGP), Copperleaf, and investment planning (IP) process.
