Descriptions:
We are seeking a motivated Scientist to be part of a team focused on non-viral gene therapy formulation in the Genomic Medicine Unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in targeted non-viral formulation development and optimization for several different projects.

Specifically, the remit of the candidate will be to:

Support the development of customized non-viral formulations.
Apply scientific expertise and judgement to initiate, design and execute experiments in a time-sensitive manner.
Maintain accurate experiment records and material inventory.
Analyze and present experiment data clearly and effectively.
Acts as an impactful contributor of project teams and transverse initiatives.
Foster creativity, productivity, execution with a sense of urgency, scientific integrity and accountability. Maintains a collaborative culture.

Qualifications:
PhD or Master’s plus minimum 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with a strong background in nanoparticle-based formulation development & analytical characterization.
Hands-on experience in nucleic acid drug formulation and development (especially
nanoparticle delivery technologies) is required.
Results-oriented, with a track record of significant contribution to research projects and peer-reviewed publications.
Demonstrated ability to independently design, execute, interpret, and present experimental results.
Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced industry and work environment.
Experience in preparing high quality documents including technical reports, presentations, SOPs, experimental protocols, and regulatory filings.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
