Job Title: Senior Analyst - Revenue Strategy
Duration: 12 months
Location: Hybrid 3 days - 111 Monument Cir, Indianapolis, IN 46204
 
Reporting to Senior Manager-Revenue Strategy, this role is titled as ?Senior Analyst - Revenue Strategy. The person responsible in this exciting role will work in dynamic, fast paced and non-traditional environment. An ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to navigate day to day responsibilities with minimal guidance, ability to understand Lead to Cash process quickly, apply knowledge on ASC606 and internal Client policies and able to connect the dots during New Product Initiative Meetings (NPI), collaborate with business partners in Revenue Accounting, Revenue Reporting and Deal teams, help answer questions coming from business on revenue recognition policies and overall keep work organized and be disciplined on time management and deliverables.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead New Product Initiative (NPI) for various products that Client launch and represent revenue strategy team responsible for revenue recognition policies, external cloud conclusions, ASC606 policy compliance etc.
  • Assist in monthly SOX controls, assisting revenue accounting team in updating various reports related to their controls.
  • Comply with Revenue Recognition Policy of Client while leading NPI meetings. Thorough understanding of ASC606 policies and internal Client policies on the same.
  • Guide business and other teams during NPI meetings on right revenue treatment, price treatment, billing model etc.
  • Update and approve SOX field values for products as part of NPI responsibilities.
  • Thoroughly understand the product and ability to explain to internal stakeholders, extended team within Revenue Management Team. Motivated to learn about the product through trailhead or any other relevant material available.
  • Support product related enquiry raised by deal team or other revenue management team members from time to time and provide necessary document/decks to support response to the query. This may require identifying the right product owner, work with them to understand if the issue raised is a product issue and provide direction to the person who raised query.
  • Assist with special projects as needed. Able to understand the project outcome and plan accordingly to ensure success of the project within the target timelines.
  • Assist the leader in preparing decks from time to time to present to wider revenue management teams, leadership etc.
  • Ability to present up with confidence, clearly articulating the thought process and keep the content succinct, clear and relevant.
 
Required Skills/Experience:
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience preferably in high tech industry;
  • Good technical accounting skills with a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Good communication and analytical skills;
  • Team player able to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment;
  • Detail oriented, organized and time discipline is of utmost importance to be successful in this role.
  • Ability to navigate day day work on own without having anyone to follow up.
  • Be responsible for your NPI, drive it end to end and seek support on time to ensure we are not blockers to product launch.
