We are seeking a skilled Vendor Operations lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing vendor relationships, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring the efficient delivery of products and services to our organization.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for our team on the overall relationship.
  • Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Set up and monitor vendor tracking and measurement of all vendor activities.
  • Prepare for and establish new support requirements between Client and the vendor as required, ensuring effective enablement and performance is in place at the right time.
  • Work with Vendor to identify & implement opportunities for continuous operational efficiency improvements and opportunities to reduce tasks through advances in processes and automation.
  • Provide regular cadence of updates to leadership on vendor performance, capacity, program changes, application health and continuous improvements efforts. .
  • As the scaled operations lead, work with adjacent teams to identify and support the establishment of additional scaled operations capability for RL Sales.
  • Vendor Operations Optimization: Combine strategic thinking with practical knowledge of vendor-led activities to optimize operational efficiency, troubleshoot challenges, evaluate performance, and maintain exceptional quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules
  • Implement and manage vendor selection processes to ensure partnerships with high-quality suppliers
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in vendor management or a similar role
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and vendor management software
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with financial reporting and budget management
  • Familiarity with data analysis and AI enhanced business intelligence tools
  • Project management experience
  • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our vendor operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our organization.
