Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Toronto, ON Hybrid; onsite 3 days a week
Duration: 6 months
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage technical projects associated with workflow management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a strong proficiency in Agile methodologies and documentation practices. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects related to workflow management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
• Utilize Agile project management methodologies to facilitate project execution and team collaboration.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that arise.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
• Conduct regular project meetings to communicate updates, gather feedback, and ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Implement best practices for workflow management and continuous improvement within the project team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical projects.
• Proficient in Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong documentation skills, with experience in creating and maintaining project-related documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse and off-shore teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. ADO and Jira) is a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
