This is a highly visible position and will require you to have demonstrated a consistent record in business partnership and business analytics and the ability to tell a story through data. The role requires a high level of cross-group collaboration, analytical skills, experience in influencing others and executive maturity skills. You will have the unique opportunity to lead and influence a core part of Pure's strategy. This is an instrumental role for Finance to provide value added analysis to the business.
This person will develop financial metrics and help drive operational processes that scale for Pure’s growth. This person will have exposure to key Sales and Customer Experience (CX) leaders while supporting Renewals deal review function.
The Renewals FP&A Sr. Manager will be highly analytical with the ability to dig into the details and communicate findings and analysis to other teams. A successful candidate will be responsible for surfacing and presenting key business insights and recommendations.

What You Will Be Doing
- Team lead of renewal subscription deal analysis
- Drive Renewals quote reviews and approvals, support complex strategic pricing deal reviews.
- Ensure deals are reviewed for accuracy, fitness and alignment with policies and strategic initiatives
- Reconcile and analyze install base changes and drivers for subscription changes.
- Maintain a confident, well informed point-of-view to challenge conventional or entrenched views
- Drive Renewals optimization initiatives including process, system, pricing and discount improvement initiatives.
- Architect policy, process, and governance to enable prompt decision making with accountability and ensure compliance. Drive continuous process improvement and best practices sharing. Standardize and automate reporting to scale the business.
- Support UAT testing for new renewals quoting system enhancements
- Collaborate with Sales, Sales Ops, Deals Desk, IT and Accounting to identify and implement systems, process and reporting improvements.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support key business decisions.
What You Bring To The Team
- BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent; MBA a plus.
- 8+ years of progressively complex roles in a financial function with financial planning and analysis experience/understanding; Subscription and/or Service experience a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize data to aid management in achieving operational goals.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, and financial modeling abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
- Willingness and curiosity to take deep dives into the status quo and drive effective changes that scale, even or especially if it means establishing new processes or what hasn’t been done before.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally, through strong relationship building, influencing, negotiating and communication skills, with all levels of management.
- Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Tableau and Anaplan software is a plus.
