YOUR IMPACT
The Asset and Wealth Management Division (AWM) Covenant Operations team is seeking an Analyst to provide dedicated project-level support within the high growth Real Estate and Structured Credit investing lines within AWM. This is a diverse role that entails collaboration with Origination Teams, Legal, Risk, Accounting, Tax, Audit, Engineering, Compliance & other groups across not only the firm but across regions. The role of covenants is to monitor and report the firm’s risk while enabling the business to expand their multi-asset, dynamic and bespoke portfolios.
The Covenant Ops team members will become subject matter experts in the deals they manage as well as develop the tools necessary to maintain the book of work. The team plays a critical role in creating new processes, streamlining workflows, onboarding new functions, all whilst supporting unique and varied transactions. Deal onboarding, entity creation, asset servicing, client interaction, infrastructure enhancements, and cross-regional collaboration are all integral activities the team undertakes on a daily basis. Following market trends, the scope of the role is expanding as functions are continually transferred into the team.

HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL
- This is a unique role that entails collaboration with Portfolio & Asset Managers, Capital Markets Teams, Controllers, Legal, Risk, Tax, Audit, Compliance & other cross-divisional groups.
- The successful individual will be expected to work in a team of professionals and be able to be commercial, critical and creative whilst ensuring the highest level of risk management.
- Develop an in depth and comprehensive understanding of a wide range of investments, processes, bespoke transactions and corporate practices / governance
- Work with stakeholders to collate and validate key documentation and financial testing relating to the health of our investments
- Partner with Risk and Research teams to provide subject matter and system knowledge expertise
- Leverage your skills to understand a wide range of complex structured transactions and propose creative and robust operational solutions
- Post senior stakeholders and drive team priorities
- Exhibit strong judgement and problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of developing new processes and procedures
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree with previous experience in financial services, preferably in real estate.
- Analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control-oriented mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail
- Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal clients with differing levels of product experience
- Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tooling, specifically focused on process uplift and Operational enhancement.
- Strong knowledge or prior experience with legal contracts would be beneficial
