Position Title: Associate Third Party Risk Management
Duration: 6 months
Working hours: 37.5 hours weekly
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite), Toronto, ON – Only GTA-based candidates please
Role Mandate:
This group manages all third party risk management for client. All third parties that work with client go through a risk assessment process and this group validates the controls and procedures to ensure the bank is aware and mitigating any risk to the organization. We are looking for a self-starter to join the collaborative team and support a variety of administrative tasks. The selected individual will be trained in the role and will be expected to work alongside team members and cross-functional groups at client that engage with third parties who access enterprise information.

The selected candidate is expected to:

- Ensure alignment between values and behaviour that fosters diversity and inclusion.
- Regularly connect work to client’s purpose, sets inspirational goals, defines clear expected outcomes, and ensure clear accountability for follow through.
- Monitoring SEMS (Supplier Engagement & Management System) program
- Escalating items to ensure they are actioned in a timely manner
- Open action plans in SEMS
- Creating, maintaining, and updating all program management documentation
- Maintain a Change Management repository (e.g. SharePoint site) to promote awareness of compliance to and storage of all related Changes and the Change Governance documentation.
- Monitoring the storage of the change related documentation in the approved Book of Record
- Advanced knowledge of change management principles, training, and communications
- Reporting, as needed, on any issues as requested from management
- Understanding of the TPRM Directive, ONFR guidelines, and other relevant third-party policy requirements
- Performs periodic reviews of TPRM documentation
- Provide insights and making recommendations for enhancements client’s tools
- Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making
- Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Two to three years of professional working experience
- Strategic and critical thinking
