Job Description

The Amazon Device and Services Design Group DDG is a multidisciplinary design team that is responsible for the CX and UX across the Echo family of devices, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Alexa Mobile and more. DDGs mission is to conceptualize and bring to life delightful, easytouse, and high value experiences for our customers.We are looking for a Senior Design Program Manager to manage Design programs delivered by the Expressions Design team. The Expressions Design team elevates our digital experiences by activating all senses including sound, visuals, motion, touch, and haptics and is driven to improve inclusion and create a meaningful, emotional connection between customers and our products.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with a talented team of visual, motion, sound, and illustration designers to operationalize Design programs that deliver a cohesive design language across devices and services. Manage program planning, status tracking, issue resolution, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and implementing changes through documentation updates and change management across DDG and partner teams.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5 years of UX Design ProjectProgram Management andor Design Ops experience in design organizations. 5 years of working cross functionally with design, product and tech teams experience. Experience operationalizing and maturing UX Design programs within a complex and ambiguous corporate environment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience managing design programs that deliver design systems andor design languages.
