Title: React Developer Duration: 6-9 month contract Location: Must be onsite 3 days per week in downtown Chicago
Skillset:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is highly preferred
5-7+ years of proven experience as a React Developer
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong familiarity with API frameworks (REST API’s)
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
Strong familiarity with SQL and database design
Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
Pluses: Familiarity with Scala and its frameworks (Play Framework, Akka HTTP) is a plus
Additional Notes:
This person will not be walking into a clean build. They need someone who is more senior level that can walk into a bit of a mess and be able to problem solve to clean it up.
MUST be an independent worker and also be able to work with the team. Their team is extremely collaborative and very tight knit – need someone who can fit into that well.
This person will need to understand how to manipulate data into components and also understand the high level architecture consequences of that.
