Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Duration: 12 Months Assignment
Location: Wallingford, CT 06492

 
Description:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the managerial direction and overall leadership of the Quality department. This includes supporting and executing business strategy, delivering winning solutions, developing high-performance teams, and promoting the company culture, values, and mission in working closely with project teams and procurement professionals to develop and implement planned and systematic activities to ensure the quality requirements for a product or service will be fulfilled. The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the department in a dynamic and profitable manner based on the company’s core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety, and overall outstanding service.
  • Manage the company’s Corporate Quality Program of policies, standards, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage the organization's Quality Audit program.
  • Responsible for the company's Corporate Project Execution Program.
  • Responsible for Project Document Management processes and procedures including the procedure for documents issued for construction.
  • Responsible for communicating and issuing company Design Standards.
  • Direct and maintain the company’s Q review process.
  • Responsible for issuing and maintaining the company’s guide specifications.
  • Responsible for maintaining Supplier Surveillance records.
  • Responsible for maintaining Construction Quality Verification records.
  • Responsible for Nonconformance tracking and recordkeeping. - Achieves stated targets and standards for financial performance.
  • Manages operational budget.
  • Provide technical and industry expertise with respect to Quality Assurance programs.
  • Responsible for business plan development to secure internal and external financing within established risk financial parameters.
  • Provide leadership, career coaching and development.
  • Present monthly financial information to leadership including expense forecasts.
  • Responsible for conducting performance evaluation for selected department/direct reports.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to the department.
  • Support diversity initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
Requirements:-
  • Bachelor Degree in engineering, architecture, business, construction, procurement or related degree from an accredited program and 7 years relevant consulting experience
  • Master Degree MBA Preferred
  • Expert experience in investigating, evaluating, selecting, and driving the development of products for an organization.
  • Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem solving skills.
  • Proven experience having led and completed projects from business proposal through post-production support preferred.
  • Demonstrated success as to budget, savings and/or profit margins in completed projects.
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information and convey business and technical concepts to a diverse client base and internal technical teams.
  • Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead and manage.
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills.
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
  • Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including the use of Microsoft Project or equivalent. EEO/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans
