The Production Control Specialist will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, ensuring ontime production, and coordinating with various departments to achieve operational efficiency and meet customer demands. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of material management processes.Success Metrics: NPI Material Build Readiness Aged Oracle Transaction Reports On Time Delivery Build Plan Adherence Inventory AccuracyResponsible for: Engineers all endtoend Material Flows from supplier receipt to lineside delivery in order to efficiently meet production requirements Developing a Plan for Every Part PFEP to document part numbers, quantities, suppliers, storage locations, part attributes, and replenishment plan Establish visual management process for the shop floor to align with the PFEP Update customer production spreadsheets to clearly communicate the status of each jobwork order and its canbuild factory cleartobuild status Communicate internally any known or potential issues that could affect production or shipments, confer with supervisors, planners, TPMs, procurement andor other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed plan of action and meet schedule commitments. Coordinate the schedule, plan, and initial staging of materialkits to all vital areas of production and test. Develop and standardize area supermarket replenishment plans to prevent overstocking and shortages Control the proper access and consumption of material in manufacturing custodian of the cash Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts Material consumption tracking for material closing and inventory accuracy weekly, Monthly Maintain alignment and inventory accuracy between 3PL WMS system and Amazon MRP system via EDIAPI or manual transactions Track materialpart history to ensure integrity of MRP system Monitor the flowvelocity of jobs through the production line and partner with Production to ensure work completes on time to schedule. Creating standard operating procedures on defined work paths for material handlers Acts as primary contact for matters regarding schedule execution status and can build status based on available inventoryRequired Qualifications: 3 years of domain experience in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain operations, or materials management Ability to work independently and efficiently on various assignments at once Knowledge of material resource planning MRP and manufacturing execution systems MES specifically Oracle and Proplanner Strong communication skills both within the team and with external stakeholders Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, as well as high attentiontodetail Database skills with SQL, queries, etc.
