Job Description: Looking for an experienced Snowflake developer responsible for enhancing and supporting data ingest\egress integrations with Financial Risk Mart Solution.
Contractor’s Role: The role will revolve around the building and supporting of the Snowflake processes as well as working with current application development team to drive superior business value, enhanced customer experience and compliance with standards.
Experience Level: Senior resource: 5+ years
Qualifications: • Expertise in design/development in Snowflake on Azure • Experience in ETL tools like SnowSQL from design/development and implementing data ingestion and processing pipelines
Expertise with the following skills: 1) Snowflake 2) SQL 3) Python 4) Data Analysis 5) Good problem Solving skills
Nice to have: Datastage ETL experience
Job Description: • Design and Develop ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflakes Snow SQL • Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores methods and approaches star and snowflake dimensional modelling • Experience in designing and deploying virtual warehouse, schema, views, zero-copy clone in Snowflake cloud data warehouse • Work with data analyst in mapping documents and design/build IBM DataStage jobs to the requirements. • Participate in peer design reviews and provide recommendations.
• Ensure runbooks are fully up-to date and consistently improving the efficiency derived from automation. • Hands-on experience to improve operational stability via automation, such as auto-healing where possible, and raise design changes SMEs and/or architects, as well as opportunities to application /service managers. • Work some off hours as demanded by projects, operations, and need of the on-shore team and stakeholders, such as release, testing and/or critical bug resolutions.
This is to support the new work forthcoming in Risk Consolidation project, Financial Risk Mart in Snowflake.
