Job Description: 
Job Title:  Business Analyst and Improvement Consultant

Duration: 3-6 Month Contract
Location: Remote (Potential on-site visits, if needed)
 
Summary: We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst and Improvement Consultant who will work directly with team members on assessing current state business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing operational enhancements for a variety of routine responsibilities.
Experience: The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of practical experience in driving operational excellence through process improvement, as well as leading Kaizen events; preferably within the financial services industry supporting a performance-driven, sales organization.
 
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Kaizen workshops w/stakeholders
  • Create current state workflow maps
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste, automate routine tasks and improve processes
  • Outline optimized workflow
  • Build automated solutions
  • Document procedures
  • Define, measure and report on impact of improvements
 
Skills and Certifications
  • Six Sigma Lean Green or Black Belt Certification
  • Advanced proficiency using Microsoft O365 Excel (Power Query) Power Platform Applications (Power Automate, Power BI) and Visio
  • Creating workflow maps
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Resourceful with a strong sense of project ownership
